Backstory
Ever since she was little, Azusa has been interested in art. She lived in Chiba with her little sister Matsu, her parents, and her grandparents. When she was 19, she moved to Kyoto with Matsu.
Azusa often went to music concerts, often talking to the musicians after the performance. After watching one of Takane's performances, she invites Takane to a tea party. They had lots in common, and they became friends quickly.
She also visits art galleries very often. She meets a lonely wanderer named Chihaya Kisaragi, who was crying in the art gallery. Chihaya tells her about her backstory, which made Azusa very sad. She takes Chihaya into her house. She raised her like she was her child.
She hopes to be an admired artist in Japan.
Relations
Takane Shijou
Azusa considers Takane to be her best friend. She loves to show Takane her pieces of art, which in turn Takane appreciates. Azusa loves the music Takane plays, but she prefers to make art. They visit each other very often. Azusa tries to be polite as possible to Takane.
Chihaya Kisaragi
She called Chihaya a "poor little thing," after seeing her at the museum, all alone and crying. She felt sympathy for her, and this is why she took her in. She takes care of Chihaya very well. She hopes the best be for Chihaya and Takane. She also thinks Yuzu, the doll Chihaya carries around, is extremely cute.
Matsu Miura
She takes utmost care of her little sister, even with her strange obsessions and stuff. Azusa thinks that Matsu's garden of flowers and plants is beautiful. Azusa sometimes gives Matsu money to buy her stuff.
Akane Shijou / idolmaster-chan
She is a little afraid of Akane, as Akane tries to tackle her every time she visits Takane.
Trivia
Her original name was Tsumugi (紬). Her name was changed to Azusa after the creator watched K-ON!, which had a guitarist named Azusa Nakano.
Her favorite food is traditional Japanese food. She is a little afraid of foreign food.
She wishes she would find love one day.
